It is as though additional prompting was needed by us before we would want to have a tapenade sampled and run through the fields of lavender in Provence. This rural region which is iconic is going to welcome this summer two attractions which would warrant a visit that is dedicated.

Bonnieux
Silencio at La Maison d’Aigebrun
Director David Lynch designed a private Parisian nightclub Silencio and it is going to collaborate with another filmmaker that is iconic to get its act taken on the road. From May 14 to September 20, the Silencio team has been invited by Agnès Varda whose previous family residence is now a guesthouse that is gorgeous and operated by her daughter to make a temporary club at Maison de L’Aiguebrun.

Access to the cottages, suites, and 15 rooms on the property will be given to only the members of the Silencio team. However, revelers who might be interested in the parties by DJs around the pool, screenings which are gaining from the magic touch of Varda, or shows which are connected to the festivals in the area such as the Festival International d’Art Lyrique in Aix-en-Provence, the Festival d’Avignon theater gathering, or the annual photo fair Les Rencontres d’Arles can make inquiries from here.

Do you need further convinction? Well, the food and meals are going to be handled by Armand Arnal of the farm-to-table bastion La Chassagnette.

Arles
The Paris Popup at Hotel Grand Nord Pinus
More than 12 months ago, some events that you just could not dare to miss were the monthly dinners of the Paris Popup. These parties were organized by Harry Cummins and Laura Vidal the dynamic duo who were previously the second-on-command and sommelier in the kitchen at Frenchie.

They have both now joined forces with an Experimental Cocktail Club’ s former director and from the middle of June to the end of the month of August a camp would be established by the trio at the beloved and wonderful Grand Hotel Nord Pinus which is situated just on Arles main square, also referred to as “an ode to Provence” by Vidal.
All that is going to exist on the menu which is four-course and prix fixe ($50) is going to be sourced rigorously from the region. You can visualize dishes like corn and verbena panna cotta with honeycomb, lamb belly with smoked eggplant, or cucumber and langoustine salad. There is going to also be a menu in the daytime for ceviches, salads, cured meats, and terrines. Wines are most likely going to just be biodynamic, non-interventionist, and completely local. They are going to be open between Wednesdays and Sundays.
