Cruise will be forever changed by these 5 cruise cabin hacks

Your home away from home is what your cruise cabin is. However unlike your bedroom, the space given to you by cruise lines cannot be tweaked assuming you discover that there is something lacking.

Or maybe you can?

Below are five travel hacks for cabin cruise which will have your way of cruising changed forever.

     1.      How more space for hanging can be created
When it comes to door- or wall-mounted hooks cruise ship cabins have a tendency of being stingy: the norm are usually two hooks. This means that if you have any other thing to be hung apart from two jackets you are left with having them thrown on the couch or over the edge of a chair. However with all cabins on cruises designed from metal it is simple to have your own hanging space brought in. prior to your next cruise visit Lowes or Home Depot to have a pack of magnetic hooks picked up. Simply have them stuck on your wall and begin hanging your swimsuits, baseball hats, windbreakers, and anything else that you have been searching for a space for.

     2.     How more space for your drawer can be created
Except if you overpack (assuming that you are here are a couple of tips on what should be packed for a cruise) you must be able to discover enough closet and drawer space in the cabin of a standard cruise ship to have two adults’ belongings all unpacked. But if another (third) person is added, perhaps a child or adult discovering a space becomes a little more problematic. Do not worry. A simple fix which is not going to be costly exists. Simply slide under the bed one of your suitcases which is left open. Now a convenient storage space under the bed is what you have without having to zipper-fiddle. It is suggested that items you know you do not frequently need should be put inside your new “drawer.” Also it is perfect for having dirty laundry stowed away.

3         3.  How Clothing and bathing Suits can be air-dried
Because in cabin showers there is a dearth of hanging space and passengers are asked by the cruise lines not to leave out on balconies items to dry (assuming your cabin has a balcony), discovering a place to have your sink-washed clothing or bathing suit air-dried can be almost impossible. A solution which is quite simple is to come along with some deflated balloons. Have one blown up, have your clothing that is wet draped over it in your cabin’s corner (or in the shower or bathtub) and instantly, you have a drying rack that is personal.

4.     How a room can be separated into Half for Privacy
There is nothing which separates the sitting area from where the bed id located in the vast majority of cabins in cruise ships. This makes having to share a cabin with more people difficult than you might expect. Whether you are on a trip with your friends or your child, a modicum of privacy should be given to yourself. All that is required are some ceiling hooks which are magnetic and from them a shower curtain would be hanging. This trick can be used by even two friends sharing a cabin to create some distance in between the two twin beds.

5.     How a room key can be prevented from being lost
Except if you always have your wallet on your person – or a pocket in your clothes somewhere at least – if can be hard having to hold onto your cruise ship keycard without the worry of it being lost. A solution that is simple is to have a lanyard packed, then go to the desk of the purser with your keycard when you have boarded and have the card’s corner punched with a hole. You can then have your lanyard popped into it and have it worn around your neck or wrist. That way you do not ever have to be concerned about having your card lost.
