If travel is your love and hobby then in 2015 you simply have to check out these must-travel countries.

SINGAPORE
Officially known as the Republic of Singapore this is a state which is like a city in South East Asia and measures only 718km2. The territory of the country comprises of the main island which is shaped like a diamond and popularly known in English as Singapore Island and in Malay as Palau Ujong, along with 60 isles that are significantly smaller. The 50th anniversary of their official independence from the United Kingdom would be marked in 2015. In all of that time Singapore has remarkably done a lot for itself. Singapore thrives on crowds with a booming city-state with urban developments that are large. From the entertainment district for the entire family at Marina bay to its green spaces that are numerous, it appears that this city actually has everything to provide. And if this is not sufficient for you, in June this year the 28th South East Asian Games would be hosted by Singapore. Afterwards, in August the 2015 World Stamp Exhibition would take place here. This would be an exciting time to visit Singapore, don’t you think so?

LITHUANIA
As of 2013 this country had an estimated population of 3 million and Vilnius is its largest city as well as its capital.
This gem of the Baltic has been benefitting quite a lot from its membership of the Eurozone in January 2015 which has made it for tourists much more attractive. You can bet that this is going to be the reason for a lot of street celebrations and an opportunity for paying a visit to Vilnius. The Lithuanian capital is most famous for its town which is old (in Europe it is the largest and decidedly Gothic and a part of the UNESCO World Heritage) is a city that is quant and Eastern European, and in which you are bound to get lost. If you are not keen or interested in the city you can always go to Curonian Spit (see picture) which is a World Heritage Site and the most famous tourist spot in Lithuania. It is a 98km long stretch of sand dunes and beach which dip down into the Kaliningrad of Russia in the South.

THE PHILIPPINES
Officially known as the Republic of the Philippines this country is a sovereign island in Southeast Asia which is located in the west of the Pacific Ocean. It comprises of 7,107 islands which are broadly categorized under three divisions that are mainly geographic.
Manila is its capital while Quezon City is its most populous city. It is gradually becoming the new go-to destination for crazy parties and white sand beaches in Asia. Filipinos are very much people who love to party; whether you take part in the traditional karaoke that are always in fashion or just take a walk through any of the numerous food festivals or street parties that are bound to be organized in 2015, there is the likelihood that you are never going to experience boredom in the Philippines.

NICARAGUA
To a lot of people Nicaragua is just another one of those countries that are Central American and Carrinean-esque. However, even though this is true it equally has a number of qualities which make it to stand out in its own way from the crowd. Kilometers of beaches are boasted by Nicaragua both on the Pacific and Atlantic fronts, along with colonial cities that are quaint and history-loaded, lakes of sweet water and a volcano that is active. Freshwater sharks reside in the largest lake in Central America Cocibolca also known as Lake Nicaragua. In order to reach the ocean and vice-versa, these sharks are capable of jumping through rapids just like salmons. Those who seek thrills can even go boarding down a volcano which is active Cerro Negro (see picture) hurtling down at speeds of 30mph.

NAMIBIA
This year also celebrating the anniversary of its independence is Namibia which turns 25 years independent of South Africa. Definitely worth visiting, Namibia is one of the world’s only countries to have enshrined in its constitution the protection of the environment. About 40 percent of the land of the country is either a protected reserve or national park, or a conservation area that is registered. The largest population of cheetah and black rhino in the world as well as a population that is growing of giraffes and lions is boasted by Namibia. Even though it is not as popular as South Africa its well-known neighbor, Namibia continues to be a jewel of wildlife and conservation, ideal for any enthusiasts of nature and wildlife.
