Have your summer spent at the Folk Music Camp

Although far from over is winter, however it is not too late to begin making plans for your vacation in summer. For 2015, why not have the traditional getaway to beaches forgone for a trip that would get flowing your juices of creativity.

A new trend of sleep-away camps which are special for the sets of 18 and above, adults are thankfully getting their bags packed to have new friends made, passions explored, and a little campfire nostalgia indulged in.

Do you want to experience one of such? Miles of Music Camp is a program that focuses on having traditional songwriting and folk music taught with old-school square dance, boating, and yoga on the side.

Whether you feel that you are the next Bob Dylan or you have not in your life picked up a guitar, participants of all levels of skill are welcome, and the range of instructors include folk singer-songwriters who are accomplished like co-founders Laura Cortese and Kristin Andreassen to The Revelers who are Louisiana swamp pop and Cajun players.

Now if on a trip to the shore you would prefer to still make use of your own PTO, a two weekend session is also offered by Miles of Music (on in Brooklyn, the other in Boston) apart from the main event which is a workshop that is a week-long on a woodland island that is private on Lake Winnipesaukee.

The bulk of Gondolier her second solo album which has on showcase her style of whimsical indie-folk was written in the same island that is wooded in New Hampshire.
